Remember the days before Xbox and Games on iPhones? You know, the toys your dad and grandma used to play with :)
Come join as we visit the Toy Museum of NY for a special private showing (after normal business hours) to learn about toys as early as the 1800’s, some that even started right here in NY. Then we will also have a chance to learn how about the different dolls that have been made from around the world.
This is a small museum with about 500 pieces that gives tribute to the playthings of bygone eras with vintage dolls, board games, miniature trains and other toys - some more than 100 years old.
Admission is usually $10, but we have been invited for $8. I would also recommend that you could donate a few dollars extra, it goes to keeping this going and educational programs for NYC schools.
Then we’ll pop across the street for a few drinks. You can also feel free to hang out and get a bite to eat as well. When: Sunday, Feb 28th Time: Museum: 3pm – 4pm Pub: 4pm-6pm Museum Location: 157 Montague Street, Brooklyn Heights Max People: 30 Cost: $8
Price Includes: - 15-20 min private tour of the museums toys - A quick video of some history of toys - Meeting a ton of new & interesting people - Laughing over a few drinks

“ The space was a little small, but they are still in the startup phase. I look forward to visiting them in the future. It's nice finding these random places in NYC. ”
